Reception News
Last week, the Year 5 class joined the Receptions to help them create palm leaves for our Palm Sunday re-enactment. Together, they used each other’s hand prints to create palm leaves. We discussed that Palm Sunday is the day that Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, and the people shouted “Hosanna” and waved palm leaves to welcome and praise Jesus.
Mini Vinnies
Our Mini Vinnies have been creating Easter Rocks with the theme 'new life' to hide around our community for others to find. Keep an eye out for these rocks over Easter long weekend!

Principal's Report
I write this newsletter article from the heart of our Nation’s capital, Canberra, as we finish up our Year 5/6/7 Canberra experience.
It’s been an incredible few days but at this point I’m very much looking forward to putting my head on my own pillow tonight.
Our kids have been simply incredible in their engagement in the experiences and their behaviour has been exemplary.
I want to take this time to thank all those who assisted with fundraising in the lead up to the camp, and also the staff who attended. It’s a long time away from our families, and I’m so appreciative of the staff making that sacrifice and giving these kids an opportunity.
It’s been a huge two weeks with the 3/4s having their annual camp to Adelaide last week as well.
Coming up in the next couple of weeks is Catholic Athletics as well so it’s a busy term as we head towards graduation and end of year events.

Canberra Day 1
Attending the War Memorial is attending one of the most sacred sites in Australia.
A good day to remember what has come before us as a country, and the sacrifice our servicemen and women continue to make.
We also attended the International flag display as well as Mt Ainslie lookout.
